ZEISS ClearView Single Vision – BlueGuard Lenses (DuraVision Platinum UV)
ZEISS ClearView Single Vision BlueGuard lenses are prescription lenses that filter part of the blue-violet light from screens and LED lighting, made to fit the frame you choose from Musée Optical Studio. The filtering is built into the lens material, so the lens looks clearer than coating-based blue filters.
Key features
- BlueGuard material: blue-violet light filtering in the lens material, plus full UV protection.
- ZEISS ClearView design: freeform single vision lens, sharp from centre to edge, flatter and thinner than conventional lenses.
- DuraVision® Platinum UV: durable, easy-to-clean anti-reflective coating.
- Available as prescription or non-prescription (plano).

How to order from Musée Optical Studio
Add these lenses together with a frame from our store, choose your index and Prescription or Non-prescription, then upload your glasses prescription (and pupillary distance, if you have it). A licensed optician reviews your order before lenses are made. Higher index lenses are thinner and lighter. As a general guide: 1.60 for moderate prescriptions; 1.67 for stronger prescriptions. Our optician will tell you if a different index suits your prescription and frame better.
Estimated delivery: 5-7 business days for ZEISS lenses (the complete order ships with your frame).
Frequently asked questions
Will BlueGuard lenses look yellow?
Because the filter is in the material, BlueGuard is designed to look clearer than coating-based blue filters. A slight tint can be visible in some light.
BlueGuard or UVProtect?
Both are clear everyday lenses with the same design and coating. BlueGuard adds blue-violet light filtering for screen and LED-heavy days.
Which index should I pick?
Higher index lenses are thinner and lighter. As a general guide: 1.60 for moderate prescriptions; 1.67 for stronger prescriptions. Our optician will tell you if a different index suits your prescription and frame better.
